Akashi x Reader: Confession?

 You were in your last year of Teiko Middle.  You've been pretty busy helping the basketball team. The year before you became good friends with all the members of the Generation of Miracles.  Kise was definately your best friend, probably because he was so easy to talk to.  But there was one person on the team that you didn't talk to very often, and that was Akashi Seijuro.  He had this aura about him, it would make your hair stand on end.  But you couldnt help but have a crush on the basketball captain.

"Hey ___chii!"  Kise yelled from the gym as you were walking towards it.
"Hi Kise-kun, whats up?"  He stopped right in front of you and said...
"This is the day ___chii, he seems to be in a good mood."

 You looked at Kise, irritated.  After you told him that you liked Akashi-Kun last year he's been trying to find ways to get you to confess.  You knew he meant well, but it wasn't that easy to just walk up to Akashi and start a conversation.  You tried many times before but it always ended with a one word answer from him.  You had no idea why you liked the guy.  Yeah you did admire him, he was great in everything: basketball, shogi, and school.  But it didnt make sense why your heart would skip a beat whenever he looked at you.

"Yeah Kise-Kun I don't think so.  I'm not up to getting rejected today."  You half smiled at him.
"But this is our last year in Teiko.  You gotta say something or you'll regret it."  He made a point.  (I should just go for it.  It wouldnt matter in the end... we will probably end up going to different high schools.)

 Without you saying anything you both started to walk into the gym.  You were stared at by everyone, not knowing what was going on and then you looked at Kise.  Kise stood there with fear and a second later you were doing the same.

"You both are late."  His voice sounded calm but his eyes were full of anger.  You looked down at your watch to see that you guys were 5 mintues late.
"Sorry, I was talking to Kise-Kun about something and we lost track of time."  You said hoping he wouldn't give Kise extra training.
"Yeah sorry Akashichii I'll go get changed"  Kise said before running to the boys locker room.

 You stood there not knowing what to do next while everyone went back to practicing besides Akashi.  You both stood there in silence until he said something.

"So what was so important that had to be discussed." Standing there with his arms crossed staring at everyone doing drills.
"Oh you know stupid girl problems" You laughed trying to make the mood lighter.  He then turned to you and said
"What girl problems?"  You were shocked by how much he was talking to you today.  Which made you blush a little.  Remembering what Kise told you earlier about confessing you figured dropping hints wouldn't hurt.  Finally after about 3 seconds and you blushing like an idiot you said:
"Theres a guy I like. I've liked him for awhile and Kise-Kun is trying to encourage me to confess."  You let out a huge breath.

Akashi, still staring at you, made a crooked smile, which made you blush.
"So are you going to confess?"  He asked
"I'm still deciding, to be honest." You said still blushing.
"Hmm I see."  While saying that he walked away like you weren't even talking to begin with.

After a few seconds you went to the coach to see what needed to be done for the day.  After a couple hours everyone started wrapping up and getting changed to head home.  You were kind of on a high after having a conversation with Akashi.  You felt like this was one of the best days you had in awhile.  Standing there like and idiot, Kise comes up behind you and puts his arm around your shoulder.  

"So what did he say?" whispering in my ear.
"Nothing, I didn't confess..."
"Wahh no way it looked like you guys were having that kind of conversation."  You laughed
"I just told him that I like someone thats it."
"Really? and what did he say?"  You looked at Kise.
"you're asking a lot of questions today mr. nosey." Laughing
"Do I really need to beg ____chii?" You were still laughing till Akashi grabbed Kise's arm and took it off your shoulder.  You could see in his eyes that he was upset.  Not knowing why till...

"You look like your having to much fun for someone showing up late to practice today."  Akashi glared at Kise-Kun.
"Aww I said I was sorry Akashichii."  Kise now looked at you for help.
"Akashi-Kun I'm sorry I made Kise-Kun late to practice.  I promise it won't happen again."  Trying to smile to ease the tension, Akashi then sighed.
"Fine." Akashi started to walk away but then said:
"If you ever need advice ____chan you can always come to me."

Smiling the biggest smile ever you said...
"Yes Akashi-Kun I will."
